TUF-Lines product image Guide\'s Choice Indicator

TUF-Line Guides Choice is a hollow, spliceable microfilament line.  The hollow core design allows monofilament to be spliced into the braid for the strongest possible main line to leader connection.

Now metered every 10 feet with three permanent color changes, Guides Choice Indicator braid is a must for "top shotting" monofilament or for trolling and vertical jigging where precise determination of depth is necessary.  Color metered Guides Choice Indicator is metered braid "done right".

With color changes every 10 feet rather than the traditional 10 yards the angler gets much more precise depth control for targeting suspended fish.  When jigging in very deep conditions, simply count every third color (10 yards) for ease in depth determination and to target the species.

When "top shotting" monofilament simply insert the end of the monofilament approximately two feet into the braid and use floss to whip the area where the mono enters the braid.  Use up to 30 pound mono with 40 pound braid, up to 50 pound mono with 60 pound braid, up to 100 pound mono with 80 pound braid, up to 130 pound mono with 130 pound braid, up to 150 pound mono with 150 pound braid, up to 200 pound mono with 200 pound braid, up to 300 pound mono with 300 pound braid, and up to 500 pound mono with 500 pound braid.  Use for making wind on leaders or as a backing for top shotting with monofilament.

Bertrand Picarda

As an accomplished GT (giant Trevally) fisherman, I have been using TUF-Line Guides Choice  and XP for the past eight years.  GT are extremely tough fish that once hooked make rod breaking runs into whatever cover they can find.  You need a line that is strong, abrasion resistant, durable, and very thin, to pull these giants out of the cover.  I trust that job to TUF-Line.
